What is RSS?

RSS feeds notify you when a Web site has updated content. With RSS you can stay informed without the need to constantly visit the Web site to see if there are new articles.

There are a number of ways to access RSS feeds. You can install a news reader that displays RSS feeds from the Web sites you select, enabling you to view hundreds of headlines at once. After installing the news reader, you can add feeds from this site by clicking the "RSS" links found on most articles and pasting the URL into your reader. This page also contains links to all of the RSS feeds available on from HealthLeaders Media.

An alternative to downloading a dedicated news reader is to use a Web-based news reader. Both My Yahoo! and Google Reader are popular, free online feed readers.
