OIG to continue monitoring privacy and security oversight, enforcement
HIM-HIPAA Insider, October 6, 2008
The Office of Inspector General (OIG) will continue monitoring CMS and OCR HIPAA security rule and privacy rule oversight in fiscal year (FY) 2009, according to the OIG Work Plan released October 1.
