Q&A: Where is the regulation for annual fit testing?

OSHA Healthcare Connection, August 31, 2010

Q: Where might I find the literature that indicates that the N95 mask must be fitted on every healthcare worker annually? This seems a bit too often.

A: The OSHA rule that covers your question is the respiratory protection standard, and the relevant section of that standard is 1910.134(f)(2).
