Based on various references within the LSC and The Joint Commission’s life safety standards—as well as a review provided by our editorial advisors—we’ve compiled a list of additional NFPA standards that should be in your fire protection library.

Those marked with an asterisk should be considered vital references that you may want to own. The others are important documents that you should at least have a way of accessing, perhaps from a colleague or vendor or through the NFPA’s Web site (www.nfpa.org).
