Nevada officials claim most clinics have IC deficiencies

More than a year ago, Las Vegas health officials were advising approximately 50,000 patients to get tested for exposure to hepatitis C, after inspectors found unsafe injection practices in two now-closed outpatient endoscopy centers.

A draft report released March 10 by state officials found 25 of 49 outpatient clinics in Nevada had similar infection control deficiencies.
