I’ll admit I was skeptical when first asked to lead a team of nearly 50 full-time employees who work from home. For 30 years, I had worked in an office where all members of my team sat in the same vicinity. The close quarters allowed me to swing by a person’s desk for information or discussion and to physically oversee daily operations.
