The results of the latest HCPro Residency Coordinator Salary Survey suggest that the modern coordinator has a diversifying roster of responsibilities. Most respondents (87%) indicated that they frequently act as the communication liaison for the program director (see Figure 1). The second most common responsibility among coordinators was monitoring residents’ hours of clinical and educational work (85%).
The third most common responsibility was coordination of the clinical competency committee (CCC) and program evaluation committee (PEC); 84% of respondents indicated they frequently performed tasks related to both committees.
