A specific dialogue that is seemingly missing in GME between a program’s faculty and its team of trainees is about being aware of, understanding, and accepting how and why surrendering to unique system-induced fears makes them act in certain and peculiar ways. These behaviors are often misunderstood not only by their team members, but also by members of other teams.
