Coordinators' top priorities for 2017

HCPro’s residency survey is underway and we need your help. We need your input to help us develop the tools and information to make your job easier. Our short survey includes questions about your biggest challenges, the resources you use and want to have, and how we can keep you up to date about new resources. Here are some of the early results of the survey:
• The top priorities for 2017 include developing resident wellness programs, obtaining Training Administrators of Graduate Medical Education certification, and preparing for the self-study.
• Survey takers said when it comes to teaching core competencies, they need the most help with are practice-based learning and improvement (62%) and system-based practices (56%).
• Many respondents said implementing Milestones at their institutions was their biggest issue. Eighty-six percent would be interested in receiving guidance on the topic.
