According to HCPro’s 2016 Residency Coordinator Salary Survey, the upward trend in annual wages seen in past years’ surveys continues. Of note were the 15% of survey respondents who reported earning $60,001–$70,000. This salary range has increased 2%-3% every year since 2012.
Meanwhile, 18% of coordinators reported earning $30,001–$40,000, which is down three points from last year. The percentage of respondents earning this amount has been steadily declining since the 2007 survey when 40% reported earnings in that range.
