Bring your entire team to our webcast, The Program Evaluation Committee and the Annual Program Evaluation: The Dynamic Duo, on Tuesday, September 22, at 1:00 p.m. Eastern. Expert speakers Sylvia Zavatchen and Joseph Stuckelman will explain the paths they took to create their PECs. They will also walk audience members through an APE process and tie together the PEC, the APE, self-study, and the ACGME site visit.
At the conclusion of this 90-minute program, participants will be able to:
1. Coordinate the formation of a functional PEC and develop the written description of responsibilities
2. Organize the APE
3. Develop documents to keep the PEC organized, the APE streamlined, and follow-up as easy as possible
4. Apply methods for PEC follow-up on program improvement/action plans
5. Summarize the relationship between the APE and the self-study document
