Arlen Meyers, MD, MBA, presents a new strategy to deal with physician burnout in an article for MD Magazine. According to Meyers, the country is experiencing a crisis when it comes to medical resident burnout, and physician leaders should not wait until a lawsuit against their hospital to address the issue. His method involves four steps:
