Residency coordinators are often called upon to be leaders without formal training. To learn how to successfully take on these leadership responsibilities, join us on Tuesday, March 24 at 1 PM ET for our webcast, The Residency Coordinator’s Path to Leadership, presented by Patti D. Davison, BGS.
Davison will detail how you as a coordinator can successfully take on leadership responsibilities by identifying potential opportunities within an organization and the greater community, how and where to gather educational materials, and how to convince your organization to fund your continuing education. These tools will help you embrace your role as an unofficial leader and mentor to your residents.
At the conclusion of this program, participants will learn how to:
- Present a justification letter to their institution on the benefits of continuing education
- Network with institution coordinators, specialty coordinators, and cross-specialty coordinators
- Become a mentor and understand the value of mentorship to both the mentee and mentor
- Identify various opportunities to be a leader
- Learn where to seek educational opportunities
