Dear readers,
As you may know, HCPro covers many healthcare markets, including coding and clinical documentation improvement. One thing we often hear from our colleagues in this market is that physician buy-in and engagement is key when it comes to improving clinical documentation. And this, of course, trickles down to physicians-in-training. I am curious: Do you have any training in place for your residents regarding clinical documentation? Are you trying to get a training module started? I would love to hear what you are doing to help residents learn about clinical documentation.
Thanks for reading!
