Residency coordinators are often called upon to be leaders without formal training. To learn how to successfully take on these leadership responsibilities, join us on Tuesday, March 24 at 1 PM ET for our webcast, The Residency Coordinator’s Path to Leadership, presented by Patti D. Davison, BGS.
Davison will detail how to identify potential leadership opportunities within an organization, how and where to gather educational materials, the benefits to the coordinator and the residency program when coordinators embrace leadership, and the value of networking. These tools will help residency coordinators embrace their role as unofficial leaders and mentors to their residents. The presentation concludes with 30 minutes of Q&A.
At the conclusion of this program, participants will be able to:
- Understand the benefits of being a leader and continued professional growth
- Learn the value of networking with institution coordinators, specialty coordinators, and cross-specialty coordinators
- Understand the value of mentorship to both the mentee and mentor
- Identify various opportunities to be a leader
- Learn where to seek educational opportunities
