A clinical learning environment review (CLER) visit to your facility is imminent. Prepare before you receive the scheduled notice. Join us for Don’t Fear the CLER: Planning for the CLER Visit Before it’s on the Schedule, a webcast to be held Tuesday, August 12, 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Eastern. GME Program Director Vicki Hamm discusses the essential steps needed to prepare your staff for a CLER visit along with vital ways to assess your facility’s institutional deficiencies before the ACGME does. By defining what your staff can expect, you’ll know how your facility will measure up before the final report is released.
At the conclusion of this program, participants will be able to:
- Assess their institutional deficiencies in the six focus areas of CLER
- Prepare a CLER visit schedule
- Define the dos and don’ts of the visit
- Work with stakeholders to ensure they are engaged for the CLER visit
