The standard components of a resident application are the following:

 

  • Completed ERAS application form
  • Resume
  • Statement detailing applicant’s desire to work in specific field
  • Letters of recommendation from previous physicians who have worked with the applicant
  • Medical school transcripts
  • The United States Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE) scores
