Your disruptive resident policy should include the following:

  • Description of behaviors that are considered disruptive and will lead to an intervention
  • Framework for reporting and recording disruptive behavior
  • System for reviewing accounts
  • System for informing reported residents
  • Process for the accused to defend their actions
  • Method for monitoring behavior after the intervention
  • Procedure for maintaining confidentiality
  • Protection for those who report disruptive behavior
