In the news: California's newest hospital
HCPro's Weekly Update on the ANCC Magnet Recognition Program®*, September 3, 2010
Hoag Hospital Irvine—an ANCC Magnet Recognition Program® (MRP) designated hospital and the newest hospital to open in southern California—opened its doors on September 1.
Hoag Hospital Irvine takes over the space previously occupied by Irvine Regional Hospital and Medical Center. It is part of Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian, one of two MRP-designated acute care hospitals in the system. The $84 million effort opened on schedule and within budget.
