Q: What structure(s) and Process(es) enable nurses at all levels in your organization to participate in professional organizations at the local, state and national levels?

A: Here are some recommended items to include:

  • Reimbursement of membership dues
  • Payment of membership
  • Paid time
  • Access to resources i.e. speakers, conference rooms, etc.
  • Paid travel and conference attendance
  • Credit in our Clinical Advancement Program
  • Self scheduling
