Inside scoop from our experts: Developing a budget (part 2)
HCPro's Weekly Update on the ANCC Magnet Recognition Program®*, July 12, 2010
This week’s question on staff education comes from a discussion on JourneyTalk. The following provides some follow-up tips to last week’s discussion about building your ANCC Magnet Recognition Program ® (MRP) budget.
Q: I am looking for additional advice on establishing an MRP budget. Do you have any tips about what to include?
A: Budget for administrative personnel (e.g., secretary and most importantly, an IT/data expert manager) to do all your graphs, track all trends, maintain databases, store everything electronic, maintain your electronic evidence for submission, and do all the stuff for you that will make you look fabulous!
Editor's note: On JourneyTalk you can network with your peers, discuss the new manual, share your helpful tips, and get advice on how to meet the program's expectations. Become a member of JourneyTalk when you subscribe to HCPro's Resource Center for the ANCC Magnet Recognition Program®.
