Counting down to Nurses Week: Start celebrating with a free communication tool

Staff Development Weekly: Insight on Evidence-Based Practice in Education, April 10, 2009

Nurses Week doesn’t start officially until May 6, but HCPro, Inc. is beginning the celebration early! A staff educator’s job is far from easy, and we’d like to show our appreciation for all that you do with some free tips and tools you can share with your staff, as well as product discounts and book giveaways.

In the next four issues of Healthcare Training Weekly, be on the lookout for:

  • April 17: A handout you can give your staff featuring pointers about how to present a positive nursing image inside and outside of your organization.
  • April 24: A 25% savings off all HCPro’s nursing products.
  • May 1: A handout for you and your staff about 10 stress busters to help you maintain a successful nursing career.
  • May 8: To help you celebrate Nurses’ Week, a Florence Nightingale quiz you can share with all your staff. We will reward 50 nurses who send in the right answers with a free copy of  Ending Nurse-to-Nurse Hostility: Why Nurses Eat Their Young and Each Other

And now to kick off the festivities, check out this week’s free communication tool, which you can forward to your staff or print out and share with them during education training. The tool teaches nurses how to effectively and comfortably confront unprofessional behavior in their facilities in four simple steps.
