When it comes to care planning, many facilities have mastered paper compliance, meaning their care plans appear to be compliant on paper, says Frosini Rubertino, RN, CSC, an instructor for HCPro Boot Camps.
However, many facilities fail to achieve what Rubertino calls “practice compliance,” which means staff members are carrying out what is described in the care plan on the floor.
