Pharma Compliance Alert, March 4, 2009

KV Pharmaceutical may soon resume manufacturing and marketing products after entering into a consent decree with the FDA, the company announced.

On January 28, KV recalled more than 80 medications distributed by its subsidiaries Ther-Rx and ETHEX as a precautionary measure because the products may have been manufactured under conditions that did not met current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
