Rob Stuart named senior vice president and chief operating officer

MARBLEHEAD, MA (APRIL 14, 2005)-HCPro President and CEO Bruce Guzowski announced that Rob Stuart, HCPro's longtime vice president of marketing and sales, will become the company's senior vice-president and chief operating officer.


"In this role, I have asked Rob to identify the organizational opportunities necessary to scale the company to support our full range of products and services including the challenges of managing multiple off-site operations," Guzowski said. Since the completion of its management buy-out in December of 2002, HCPro has continued its rapid growth fueled by nine acquisitions completed during the period.


Stuart will continue to be responsible for strategic marketing, marketing operations, sales, customer service, production, information systems and chair of the New Products Committee. HCPro has begun a search for a Senior Marketing Executive.


Stuart is active in the Newsletter & Electronic Publishers Association (NEPA), and was named NEPA's Volunteer of the Year in 2003. Before coming to HCPro in 1995, Stuart was the managing editor of the medical books division of Little, Brown and Company and was a member of Little Brown's New Media Development Group. Stuart was involved in online and CD-ROM product development for the publishing division of the New England Journal of Medicine.


Mr. Stuart graduated from Clarkson University, Potsdam, NY, where he received his BS in biology. He received his MS in Science Journalism from Boston University.
