Palmetto GBA issues new therapy ADR requirements

Palmetto GBA—the MAC for jurisdiction 11—recently instated new documentation requirements for home health agencies that receive additional documentation requests (ADR) related to therapy records. The revision, which took effect April 1, is intended to allow the contractor to better evaluate medical necessity of services billed by agencies under its authority.
