New data reveals demographic challenges, outcome successes in home health

Late last month, the Alliance for Home Health Quality and Innovation (the Alliance) released updates to the 2014 edition of its Home Health Chartbook, which aggregates key industry data, including beneficiary and worker demographics, organizational and economic trends, and an overview of the postacute care (PAC) market at large. This latest set of data, compiled by Washington, D.C.-based analytics firm Avalere Health, LLC, also reveals some promising outcomes delivered by home health agencies in recent years.
