NAHC decries proposed surety bond requirement

Earlier this month, the Obama administration released its proposed budget for fiscal year (FY) 2016, calling for some significant updates that provider advocates say would jeopardize income for HHAs. Among the most contentious proposals is the imposition of a surety bond for Medicare agencies—a provision the National Association for Home Care & Hospice (NAHC) says could have “serious negative effects” for the industry.
