DOL: Protections for homecare workers still effective Jan. 1, but enforcement delayed

The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) announced last week that it will uphold its January 1, 2015 timeline for implementing regulation changes that extend Fair Labor Standards Act minimum wage and overtime protections to most homecare workers, but in a seeming attempt to accommodate players on both sides of the issue, it will also temporarily delay its enforcement of the rule.
