New cosponsors sign on to employer mandate bill

Representative Joe Pitts (R-Pennsylvania), Chair of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, has recently signed on as a cosponsor of H.R. 5098 on September 8, quickly followed by Representatives Trent Franks (R-Arizona), James Lankford (R-Oklahoma), and Walter B. Jones, Jr. (R-North Carolina), bringing the grand total of sponsors for the bill centered on exempting certain Medicare and Medicaid providers from the employer health insurance mandate up to six.
