Tip of the week: Don't be afraid to enforce your HIPAA policies

In order for you to ensure that your set of policies and procedures is strong, you must be able to enforce it. Therefore, when you create policies and procedures, consider how you will monitor and enforce them. If you write a policy and then tuck it away, you've really done very little to protect and secure your data.
