Why some plans don't work and what you can do to minimize your chances of stalling

Often, EHR projects don't live up to a facility's expectations. Sometimes, plans stall. Other times, a facility will abandon the entire project and revert to its old paper processes.

Although it's better to plan ahead to avoid these problems, just because your facility isn't on schedule or is back working with paper charts doesn't mean you should give up or settle for a process that doesn't work for you. Instead, you should review the top reasons why your project didn't meet your expectations or failed.
