Editor’s Note: A reminder to local chapter leaders to complete the ACDIS Local Chapter Agreement Form and return it to ACDIS Associate Editorial Director Melissa Varnavas via email at mvarnavas@acdis.org.
Also, local chapter membership rosters will be due by the end of the month. Please remind local chapter members to update their contact information using the online membership roster. They will receive an automatic email regarding their national membership discount upon completion of the roster information. Upcoming meetings include:
- The Massachusetts ACDIS Chapter meets Tuesday, March 29, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. Mitchell Levy, MD, chief of critical care medicine and member of the Surviving Sepsis Campaign executive committee will present. Register by March 15. - The Georgia ACDIS Chapter holds its spring meeting Friday, April 1, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at Athens Regional Medical Center. For a complete agenda, visit the GA ACDIS Facebook page. Register to Linda Conner by email at linda.conner@dekalbmedical.org.
- The Heart of Texas ACDIS Chapter (Waco) meets Tuesday, April 5, 4:30 p.m., to discuss CDI efforts in patient safety indicators and hierarchical condition categories. For information, contact Sharon Cole at sharoncole2751@gmail.com.
- ACDIS Greater St. Louis Missouri Chapter meets Wednesday, April 13, 6:30-8 p.m. at Missouri Baptist. For information, contact Michael McKelvey at mpm2239@bjc.org.
- The Wisconsin ACDIS Chapter meets Saturday, April 16, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Wheaton Franciscan Wauwatosa Campus. Registration fee is $35 for WI ACDIS members; $50 for nonmembers. For information, contact Joan Korn at joan.korn@wfhc.org.
- The Indiana ACDIS Chapter meets Saturday, April 30, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., at the Memorial Hospital in Gary. For information, email Lee Walton at LAWalton@stvincent.org.
The Oregon Northwest Chapter of ACDIS meets Friday, May 6, at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland. For information, contact Karen Gray at Karen.Gray@salemhealth.org.
