Last week’s question
Which of the following was invented for Ronald Reagan on the occasion of his 1981 presidential inauguration?

a. Blueberry jellybeans
b. Chicken McNuggets
c. Cool Ranch Doritos
d. Skittles

The answer is A. Although the other foods were also created in the 1980s, Jelly Belly created the blueberry jellybean due to Reagan’s love of the candy, which he ate to curb his pipe smoking. The company provided jellybeans to the White House for every year of Reagan’s presidency, and his favorite flavor was licorice.
