South Peninsula Hospital in Homer, Alaska is looking for a CDI specialists to support overall quality and completeness of clinical documentation for meaningful use measures, including clinical quality measures, core measures, and optimal reimbursement. A bachelor’s degree in nursing or health information management is required, though this may be substituted with 10 years’ acute care experience. Three years’ recent clinical experience in a hospital environment and a minimum of two years’ working in a computerized clinical system is preferred.
