Those interested in taking the Certified Clinical Documentation Specialists (CCDS) credential exam at the ACDIS Conference in San Antonio on May 21 must submit an application no later than Friday, April 17.
Because the CCDS credential is a mark of distinction, signifying that those who hold it have both expertise and experience in the role, those hoping to earn their certification must have at least two years of on-the-job experience as a concurrent CDI specialist to apply.
Click here to download the application and write "Exam at San Antonio" across the top. Only registered candidates will be admitted, walk-ins are not allowed. If you previously submitted an application and wish to take the exam at San Antonio, you must notify Penny Richards. You cannot use the exam company’s online scheduling tool for this in-person test site.
