Carson Tahoe Health in Carson City, Nevada, seeks a CDI specialist to works closely with HIM/coding staff to ensure the patient's health record reflects clear and complete diagnosis, procedure, and present on admission documentation, and assist with obtaining clarification to ensure appropriate and compliant reimbursement. Valid Nevada RN license required and Bachelor degree preferred with a minimum of five years clinical nursing experience in an acute care hospital setting required, and case management certification preferred. A $5,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance, offered.
