Membership Update: Quarterly Conference Call recording available

The ACDIS quarterly conference call of Thursday, November 21, is now available for download. Members can visit the conference call page and click on the link to listen to the recording. Among other topics, the following items were discussed:
- ICD-10 dual coding—overview of one facility’s dual coding program rollout, findings, areas of documentation deficiency, and future plans
- HACs and infection control criteria. Download the POA Indicator MLN Matters article mentioned on the call.
- Encephalopathy queries with altered mental status patients. Download the related White Paper mentioned on the call.
- Coding from radiology reports in ICD-10
- Chronic respiratory failure in patient with CPAP and obstructive sleep apnea

Each conference call has been approved for one continuing education credit for CCDS recertification. A link to the survey is also available on the conference call page of the website.
