Due to heavy call volume, please dial in 10 minutes prior to the start of the program. These calls are an exclusive benefit of ACDIS membership and are offered as a means for ACDIS members to network with one another and to discuss any clinical documentation improvement related issues. We will have a few ACDIS Advisory Board members on the call as well.

The agenda for today’s call includes the following:
  • ICD-10 dual coding—overview of one facility’s dual coding program rollout, findings, areas of documentation deficiency, future plans
  • HACs and infection control criteria
  • Encephalopathy queries with altered mental status patients
  • Coding from radiology reports in ICD-10
  • Chronic respiratory failure in patient with CPAP and obstructive sleep apnea
  • Use of BMI for coding
  • Using EF from previous stay in new query
