Membership Update: Local meetings offer CDI education through September

ACDIS local chapters have several meetings scheduled in the coming months. As a reminder if you are not a member of a local chapter and are considering joining, you may contact the local chapter leaders indicated below.
West Virginia: The next WV ACDIS meeting will be held from 1-3 p.m. on Wednesday, August 15, at Thomas Memorial Hospital in South Charleston. For information, contact Sheila Harrison at 304-389-0689 or email Sheila.Harrison@camc.org.
Kentucky/Southern IN: The KY and IN ACDIS chapters will host a combined regional chapter meeting from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., on Thursday, August 23, at Columbus (IN) Regional Hospital. For information, contact Susan Bradford at 317-776-7285 or email sbradford@riverview.org.
Alabama: The next meeting for Alabama ACDIS will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., on Saturday, August 25, at Huntsville Hospital Corporate University. Georgia: The next Southeast Chapter of ACDIS meeting will be Friday, September 7, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Gordon Hospital in Calhoun, Ga. RSVP by August 20 to james.doster@emoryhealthcare.org.
New York: The New York City/Five Boroughs networking group holds its inaugural meeting from 4-6 p.m. on September 20, at the Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn. RSVP by August 2, to Wanda Mejias-Gonzalez by calling 718-302-8542 or email wmejias@wyckoffhospital.org.
Austin, TX: The Austin ACDIS Chapter holds its inaugural meeting from 1-4 p.m. on Saturday, September 8, at University Medical Center Brackenridge, 3rd floor Boardroom, in Austin. For information, contact Barbara Anne Presley RN, CCDS, at Bapresley@seton.org, or call 512-324-7679.
Wisconsin: The Wisconsin ACDIS Chapter meeting will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, September 29, at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics, West Clinic, in Madison.

- Queries - A physician perspective
- Value Based Purchasing

Oregon: The NW (Oregon) ACDIS Chapter is holding its fall conference from 8:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Friday, October 19, at Legacy Meridian Park Medical Center in Tualatin, Ore.
