We are very excited about the Fourth Annual ACDIS Conference next week (April 7-8, Orlando FL) and want to remind participants of few items to help ensure you make the most this great educational and networking experience.
First, we strongly encourage you to pre-register on Wednesday, April 6, from 3-6 p.m., in the Grand Foyer. With more than 600 attendees needing to register, you can avoid the early morning rush on Thursday by pre-registering during this time.
Second, we are excited to announce that the Annual Awards Luncheon will be served on the patio deck outside. Understanding that this April in Florida, we encourage attendees to dress in layers, prepared for the air-conditioned rooms of the conference sessions and the warmth of the Florida sun during the luncheon. If the weather is poor lunch will be moved inside.
Third, we want to remind you that a boxed lunch will be provided this year in the Exhibit Hall. Participants are invited to pick out their lunch, browse the exhibits, and return to Salon IV and V (the large breakout session) of the Grand Ballroom where we plan to have tables arranged by state. The Florida ACDIS Chapter will host a game of CDI/ACDIS trivia, so we encourage everyone to review the ACDIS website to get a leg-up on the competition.
Fourth, networking is one of the best things about coming to the conference. Don’t forget to bring plenty of business cards so you can share contact information with colleagues and enter drawings in the exhibit hall.
And finally, we’re in Florida so don’t forget to have fun!
