The correct answer is D. William Henry Harrison delivered the longest inaugural address, and was the first president to die in office, approximately 32 days after he was elected. Wearing neither overcoat nor hat, Harrison delivered a 105 minute speech March 4, 1841. He developed pneumonia and died in the White House April 14 exactly one month after his speech.
