Which sport in the Winter Olympics involves stones and brooms?
  1. Biathlon
  2. Curling
  3. Ice hockey
  4. Skeleton
The correct answer is B. Curling is a team sport in which participants slide stones, also called rocks, across a sheet of carefully prepared ice towards a target area. Two sweepers with brooms accompany the stone as it slides down the sheet, using the brooms to alter the state of the ice in front of the stone to influence its path.
