We have an anesthesiologist in the operating room (OR) for an ear, nose and throat (ENT) case for a bronchoscopy. The anesthesiologist is also a fellow with the ENT surgeon who is perfoming a percutaneous tracheostomy. Can the anesthesiologist charge for his portion, or is it integral to the ENT surgery?
