Last Thursday, President Barack Obama signed into law a bill to permanently repeal Medicare’s sustainable growth rate (SGR) formula, effectively ending the 17-year battle over cuts to physician reimbursement and earning praise from a healthy cross section of healthcare providers and their advocates, including the National Association for Home Care & Hospice (NAHC).
