Corporate Compliance

Tip: develop a social media policy

Compliance Monitor, June 15, 2011

Having a clear policy on social media use can help head off problems at your organization. Look at what others have done already. Take advantage of policies that are available online—for example, HCCA has a number available through its listserv. But whatever policy you use, have an external legal review—preferably done by someone who is an expert in social media.
