New York's Medicaid Fraud Control Unit prosecutes state record of 148 criminals in 2009

New York Attorney General Andrew M. Cuomo announced that his Medicaid Fraud Control Unit (MFCU) convicted a record 148 criminals and recovered more than $283 million in 2009, according to a Department of Justice (DOJ) press release.
