Secondhand smoke still a big health risk

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported that despite making some progress in reducing secondhand smoke exposure, some 58,000 people are still exposed secondhand smoke regularly. This number includes two out of every five children under age 11.

Secondhand smoke exposure can put children with asthma at high risk for an exacerbation.
