Joint Commission puts Acute Stroke Ready Hospital performance measures up for public comment

The Joint Commission seeks comments on its proposed of Acute Stroke Ready Hospital (ASRH) performance measures, which are part of the accreditor’s Disease-Specific Care (DSC) Advanced Certification program for ASRHs. The eight new measures are being reviewed for feasibility, overall importance, scientific acceptability and usability/interpret-ability.
The deadline to provide feedback on the measures is midnight on December 21.
