Clearing the air about CMS' H&P changes

There seems to be a lot of questions regarding CMS and recent changes to H&Ps. This column will address the changes and clear up any confusion.

The most recent changes did not affect critical access hospitals. These hospitals are still governed by tag numbers 305 and 320. The confusion stems from CMS not identifying hospitals as regular or critical access when referring to regulations.
